Day 2 – Loan Officers Are Kicking Tail!
Posted by: | CommentsDay #2 of The Loan Officer Project is now complete, and I’m impressed at how many loan officers are keeping up! The pace is furious, but hey, did anyone expect anything less? The goal here is to accomplish as much as you can in as short of a time period as possible.

Mortgage Marketing – Day 1 Is Complete
Posted by: | CommentsDay 1 of The Loan Officer Project was an absolute whirlwind! The 1st call lasted 1 hour and 40 minutes as questions were asked, answered, and even “to do lists” were handed out. So what did we spend 1 hour and 40 minutes talking about?
- Online mortgage marketing
- Why traditional websites never work
- How to setup a website that Google will like
- How to identify top performing realtors in your market
About 45 minutes following the call, 5 videos were made available to participants on this blog (The password protected page) as well as downloadable guides to take all of the marketing we discussed on the tele-conference, and demonstrate how to turn it into ACTION the VERY SAME DAY…
THAT is the spirit of The Loan Officer Project… Not talk… Not dabbling… Rather, learning what to do, how to do it, and then doing it! I’m proud of the participants so far, and I’m eager to see what is accomplished on day #2. I’ll be back to tell you all about it!
Loan Officer Project Begins Today!

We caved a little, and last minute took on an extra 10 participants, so we have 110 loan officers logging in to get started building their sites, online marketing campaign, and realtor marketing campaigns…
We’ll keep you up to date on how the participants are doing – who knows… I might even have a few of them head on over to post their results!

Mortgage Marketing Online – A Success Story

Welcome Back – Hope you all had a wonderful Fathers Day weekend! This morning I’m interviewing a member of the Loan Officer Marketing Lab has has gone from 0 leads generated online, to an estimated 60 – 70% of his closings coming from the web. All the more impressive when you consider that all of this happened within just a few short months.
Listen to this video very closely. I want you to read between the lines a bit here as well to really get to the heart of what Chris is saying. YOU and only you have the power to make this marketing plan work for you. So many loan officers sit around and wait for some outside force to influence their careers, when the reality of the situation is that you already have the means to be a success within you – All you need is decisive action!
Put it this way… What if I were to to give 1,000 loan officers the exact same training, the exact same tools, and the exact same leads, and then let them loose on the same state? Would they all come back with the same amount of closings?
Of course not! The results would be as varied as all the stuff I find under my couch when I go searching for lost car keys! Why is this? If you are serious about getting in on this project, there is a glimmer of hope. We have been getting notices from a handful of participants that they’ll be unable to participate, or put the project on hold due to scheduling conflicts.

The Most Honest Video Yet On Internet Marketing

We decided to do something quite unusual today – TOTAL TRANSPARENCY! That’s right, in today’s video titled: Why Online Marketing ROCKS – (Nice title eh?) I actually log you into some of the programs I use to tweak my own online lead generation efforts.
No smoke and mirrors, no empty claims… I’m showing you why I do what I do, and how it helps me to deliver an effective, lead generating and money making marketing campaign online. Promise you won’t copy off the systems I use though ok? (Kidding)
Guessing is not a great marketing strategy in my opinion, but this is what most mortgage marketing amounts to. Let me ask you an honest question. I expect a straight-forward answer here ok? Do you think you’re a failure? Do you believe that you can never hit on a marketing strategy that works?
The answer for most of you is no right? Then the truth of the matter is that if you properly manage your online marketing efforts, there should be no way for you to fail on an ongoing basis, as most loan officers have. Why?
Because as I demonstrated in the video above, online marketing does not require you to guess! With tools such as A/B/ Split testing (A part of Google Analytics that allows you to display more than one variation of your web page each day, and tracks which is more successful), traffic analysis and even click tracking, within a matter of days, you can see what your visitors respond to favorably, and what they’re not interested in. Simply choose the superior webpage, then test a new variation…
If you test new tweaks and variations on a regular basis, you’re getting better, and better, and better… How can you fail if you stick with it? Unlike mailers, and expensive newspaper ads, these tests cost you nothing more than a little time. No dollar signs attached. (Heck, if your time is too valuable, you can outsource and have the leg-work done for you) You will hit on a winning combination if you stick with it…
Anyhow, just a brief rundown on why marketing online is so powerful. It’s hard to ignore the medium when you see published figures such as: 86% of all individuals who bought a home last year used the web to start their search… Exciting stuff… Almost makes you want to take action doesn’t it? Oh wait, you DO want to take action, and that’s why you’re here! If you’re serious about taking action, I want you to look for the link underneath the Home button at the top of this blog.

FaceBook, Twitter, MySpace… Lots of chatter about using these sites as a marketing tool, but very few trainers address the real story behind the scenes of how to use these sites as marketing tools.
