Welcome to Day #2 Of The Loan Officer Project

We’ve already heard from many of you regarding day #1 and what you have accomplished. Fantastic! I love hearing positive news! Today we’re going to continue the pace so we can get the basic web building out of the way, and move on to the profitable activities.

The first thing I want you to do, is watch the video regarding Plugins, and open the mini-guide I provide below. I’ve even outlined some of the exact same plugins I use for my own blogs. These will make your site rn much smoother, and give you more control and functionality such as video, contact forms, and more.

Setting Up Pages

The Page feature in Wordpress works just like any other website. You can setup as many pages as you like, and on each page, you can now customize your permalinks as we discussed yesterday. I recommend that you setup an About Us page, a Services page, What Makes Me Different page, and a Contact Us page to kick things off. Ideally, you will keep the pages to the point, and insert keywords into the text.

NOTE: For SEO purposes, you should insert your keywords once within the first paragraph, at least once or twice throughout the body of the text, and once more within the last paragraph. This is what is known as Keyword Saturation. Works like a charm!

Wordpress Posting

A post on Wordpress is simply a blog post. This is an interactive way to communicate updates, get feedback from visitors, and comment on interesting topics. How do you benefit from blog posting? SEO, website “stickiness” and interaction with prospects.

Regular posting is needed to benefit, and be aware that it may be a few months before you really feel you’re getting a benefit from your blog posts… I assure it will come though, and when it does, it’s hard to imagine doing business without a blog.

Your blog posts should use your target keyword within the title whenever possible, and insert keywords with the same frequency as I mentioned above regarding Pages.
